We’ll be joining the Slow Food Edible Garden Tour here in Truckee, organized by Slow Food Lake Tahoe. We’ll tour different edible gardens around town. About the event: Each stop on the tour will feature a 45-minute guided walkthrough led by the gardeners themselves, sharing tips on growing food in Truckee's short season, creative solutions for cold-weather crops, and insights into sustainable gardening practices. Refreshments and light bites will be available throughout the morning.
